Steffi Gurango

Teacher Steffi graduated cum laude with a degree in Special Education from the University of the Philippines, and ranked top 8 in the 2013 Licensure Examination for Teachers in the country. She swam competitively, was a former captain of the UP Varsity Swim Team, as well as a former member of the Philippine Women's Water Polo Team. She has several years of teaching swimming to students with differentiating abilities as well as a few years of experience in coaching a swim team. She also currently has three AUSTSWIM teaching licenses: Swimming and Water Safety, Infant and Preschool Aquatics, Aquatics Access and Inclusion.



Nicki Relampagos

Teacher Nicki is a former competitive swimming coach, training children and young adults for the UAAP and other national and international competitions. She graduated with a degree in Psychology from the Ateneo de Manila University, and has a graduate diploma in Psychology at Deakin University, Australia. She previously worked as a behavioral therapist for Autism Partnerships Australia. She specializes in teaching children with special needs, as well as infants and toddlers. She also currently holds an AUSTSWIM teaching license for Swimming and Water Safety.



Anton Navarro

Teacher Anton completed a Management degree in the Ateneo de Manila University. He has had several years of teaching both regular and special needs children different sports. Teacher Anton loves the outdoors, and spends his time free-diving, backpacking, or climbing during his spare time.



April de Castro 

Teacher April is a former competitive swimmer, competing for the UAAP and other national competitions. She graduated with a degree in Physical Education from the University of the Philippines. She has had experiences in teaching both young kids and adults swimming and other sports as well, and has been an educator for children with special needs within the confines of the classroom. Apart from swim teaching, she also co-owns a play school in Quezon City.

Carlo Millan

Teacher Carlo graduated with a degree in Entrepreneurship from the De La Salle University. He was  swimming from 2001 to 2010, competing in national and international meets. He has had several years of experience in teaching swimming and other sports, including Muay Thai and Jiu Jitsu, which he also currently competes in.



Emi Tai

Teacher Emi finished her Bachelor's Degree in Economics and Business Management in the De La Salle University. She currently works in logistics, managing their family business, but also enjoys teaching swimming. On her spare time, she trains for different spartan races.



Ponchi Halili

Teacher Ponchi is a graduate of the University of Santo Tomas with a degree in Business Administration, and is currently taking up further Theological studies. He is a former swimmer and team captain of the College of Commerce Swimming Team. He was once working in a multi-national company, then as a full-time Training Coordinator for a church. Today, he loves sharing his passion for the water by teaching students of different ages to learn to swim.


Sam Hain

Teacher Sam graduated from De La Salle University with degrees in Organizational Communication and Advertising Management. She was a member of the DLSU football team, and has done several aquathlon races. She has had experiences in teaching children within the classroom, as well as other sports such as football. Aside from teaching swimming, she also works as a copywriter.


Issa Abesamis

Swim School Coordinator

Issa Abesamis graduated from the University of Santo Tomas with a degree in Medical Technology. She then worked at their family events company while teaching languages to foreign students. Later on, she pursued marketing and digital marketing for several companies and individuals. Today, alongside her media managing, she works to help coordinate for The Noodies Swim School.
